About Me
I translate my depth of experience into strategic, high-impact digital solutions
Throughout my career, I’ve always been curious; eager to explore different facets of design and storytelling across a wide range of platforms. That curiosity has helped me build a broad, practical understanding of design thinking, and more recently, it’s given me the chance to support and mentor the next generation of creatives.
As Head of Creative at Staysure, I’ve been involved in campaigns that span TV, digital, print and social – always with a strong focus on craft, consistency, and clarity. The role has honed my eye for detail, strengthened my ability to manage multiple complex projects at once, and reinforced the value of clear communication. I’ve also leaned into AI as part of my workflow, using new tools to enhance creative output and drive efficiency across the team.
Before Staysure, I spent a year deepening my UX/UI knowledge working at Hastings. While there I completed three specialist courses with Nielsen Norman Group (UX Roadmaps, Service Blueprinting, and The Human Mind & Usability). Prior to that, I spent 13 years at Admiral — the last four as Senior Designer — where I gained hands-on experience across digital, print, UX, and brand development.
I’ve worn a lot of hats over the years, but what connects all of it is a love for big ideas, smart design, and making work that connects with people.

Interests
Outside of work…
My role as a Senior UX/UI Designer at Hastings Direct allows me to demonstrate my eye for detail, an ability to showcase consistently high quality outcomes across varied mediums, and display my multi-tasking, organisation and communication skills.
Before Hastings, I spent 13 years at Admiral, the last 4 as a Senior Designer. I’ve had the opportunity to work on a number of varied projects that have given me exposure to web, print, UX/UI, the opportunity to direct photoshoots and even help to write TV commercial scripts.
My experience has shaped me into a designer who has the ability to take on any creative challenge and produce a high standard of work.
Skilllset
My skillset and tech stack have grown significantly in recent years — partly thanks to Adobe’s grip on the creative industry loosening, and partly through my own obsession with working smarter. I’ve embraced tools like Figma, Midjourney, and ChatGPT to support everything from early planning to final delivery. The rise of AI has been especially exciting, and I’ve found practical ways to use it across research, ideation, and asset creation. I’m also a sucker for automation — if there’s an opportunity to streamline a process and save time in the long run, I’m all in.
Interests
Outside of work…
The majority of out of work fun is spent with the family. I also love photography, and have given up the perfection of an smartphone camera and now carry a camera around with me. It's the imperfections that add character to photographs, not bloody HDR.
I'm a sneaker collector (I really should stick to my roots here and say "trainer"), and spend far too much money on adding to my collection.
I am also likely to turn around any conversation we are having into discussing Leicester winning the Premier League in 2016. You can distract me with good quality coffee and a biscuit.
